Story

Hello, my Name is Dumas Brea. My family and I relocated to Goldsboro in March 2018 when I then transferred with a local food manufacturing company. During the first year, we fell in love with the downtown, the people, and the climate. One night while enjoying the night out with friends, I realized Goldsboro downtown was the place I wanted to pursue my dream “Brisas” a taste of Caribbean Cuisine. In March 2019, I opened Brisas at 108 N. Center Street, Goldsboro, NC. By the start of the second year, I then realized I have outgrown this location, so by May 2020, I relocated Brisas to a larger location at 103 N. Center Street and opened a pizzeria “Up North Pizzeria” at Brisas's old location. I feel at home here in Goldsboro with all the great people I have met thus far. I love being part of this great community.
